Lancaster boys and girls basketball players take home Ohio Capital Conference awards
LANCASTER—The Lancaster boys' and girls' basketball teams ended their seasons a few weeks ago, but several players earned All-Ohio Capital Conference-Buckeye Division awards for their play this year.
The Lancaster boys finished with an 11-12 overall record and were Central District Division I district runners-up. The Gales went 5-9 in league play, marking the fifth consecutive year the Gales have recorded double-digit wins in a season.

Senior Colton Bruny was named first team All-OCC and third team All-Central District. Cam Earned All-OCC second team honors, Drew Whitlach was special mention and Davis Call was honorable mention.
The Lancaster finished with a 13-11 overall record and were 7-7 in league play.
Junior Molly Stedman was named first team All-OCC and honorable mention all-Central District. Lily Stoughton was second team All-OCC, Kylan Pugh and Harper Allen was special mention and Emalene Chevalier was honorable mention.
Pugh was also selected for the OCC Scholar-Athlete Award.
